Frequently asked questions
How long does transport from Germany to Bosnia take?
By road, the journey from southern Germany to Banja Luka takes about 10 to 12 hours. Including preparation and documentation, the whole process usually takes 2 to 4 days.
Is embalming required?
This depends on the country of departure and the type of transport. For road transport, embalming is usually not required, while for air transport it generally is. We will advise you depending on the country and the option chosen.
What if the deceased does not have a passport?
For repatriation, a special document is issued: the passport for the deceased (Leichenpass). We arrange it for you.
Can you transport the deceased to Serbia or Montenegro?
Yes. We transport to all countries of the former Yugoslavia and the wider Balkan region.
Does the family need to travel with the vehicle?
